Victor Wooten is a five-time Grammy Award-winning master of the bass guitar who has shared the stage with Bela Fleck, SMV Featuring Stanley Clarke & Marcus Miller, Bootsy Collins, Keb’ Mo’, Dave Matthews Band, Keller Williams, Bill Evans, India. Arie, and Gov’t Mule.

Concert: Will be held in Kean University’s intimate and world-class performance venue Enlow Hall. Tickets are available at multiple price points including $35, $50 and $65.

Masterclass (space limited): Spend 2 hours learning about Victor’s philosophy and approach to music-making. This class is appropriate for all levels and all types of musicians and appreciators. Victor will teach you riffs, rhythms, and techniques that helped make him one of the most unique bass players in the world. He’ll share some of the secrets behind his approach to music and help you learn how to create your own musical style.

VIP Afterparty (Space limited): Enjoy the warm summer evening and an array of hors d’oeuvres, beer and wine while spending quality time with Victor Wooten. Afterparty attendees will receive a signed copy of The Spirit of Music: The Lesson Continues.

The event supports The Institute of Music for Children, a vibrant arts community in Elizabeth NJ serving 1,000 children and families each year by engaging them in artistic expression and the creative process.
