Kean Guitarfest 2024 celebrates the classical guitar in all its splendor. The festival will showcase regional guitar ensembles and culminate in a recital by internationally acclaimed classical guitarist Celil Refik Kaya.

Mama I’m a Big Girl Now!

Celebrate over 20 years of the Broadway musical “Hairspray” with “Mama I’m a Big Girl Now!” Tony Award Winner Marissa Jaret Winokur (Dancing with the Stars), Tony Nominee Kerry Butler (Xanadu), and Tony Nominee Laura Bell Bundy (Legally Blonde) reunite onstage for the first time in 20 years in “Mama, I’m a Big Girl Now.” Spend the evening revisiting the show that helped launch their careers and lifelong friendships while singing hits from the shows that made you fall in love with them.

The Austrian band, known as the Monty Python of the music world, seamlessly combines slapstick comedy with extraordinary musical ability. An evening with Mnozil Brass, the world’s premier brass ensemble is an over-the-top fun, virtuosic, and laugh-out-loud experience.

DRUM TAO 30th Anniversary: THE TAO 夢幻響

Drum Tao, the most modern “Japanese Entertainment.” Established in 1993, with a dream of creating the best show in the world using Taiko drums (Japanese drums), an instrument with a rare and unique variety of sound expressions.

Aaron Diehl Trio

Aaron Diehl Trio was created by Aaron Diehl, a Juilliard graduate, pianist, and composer transforms the piano into an orchestral vessel in the spirit of beloved predecessors Ahmad Jamal, Erroll Garner and Jelly Roll Morton with his trio.

The Kean University Fall Choral Concert will feature the Kean University Treble Choir, Concert Choir, and Community Chorale under the direction of Dr. Rachel Carlson, Kean’s Director of Choral Activities, and a guest performance by the Science Park High School Choir, under the direction of Andre Barnes.
