Choral Concert

The Kean University Spring Choral Concert will feature the Kean University Treble Choir, under the direction of Prof. Christine Scott, the Kean University Concert Choir and Community Chorale, under the direction of Dr. Rachel Carlson, Kean’s Director of Choral Activities, and a guest performance by the Thomas Jefferson Arts Academy A Cappella Choir, under the direction of Mrs. Kelly Cubias.
The concert will include varied and diverse works, including choral music by Tomás Luis de Victoria, Anton Bruckner, Undine Smith Moore, and Moses Hogan, and will feature collaborative pianists Harmony Chau and Justine Langman and student conductors Davi Borges and Steven Friedman. The Kean University Community Chorale will perform Johannes Brahms’ Liebeslieder Waltzes, written for choir and four-hand piano, featuring Kean piano faculty Stephanie Ho and Saar Ahuvia.
