Kean Jazz Ensemble provides an opportunity for students to develop their musical skills to become successful jazz ensemble musicians and directors. The ensemble will explore genres from the Big Band Era, the Jazz Rock Era, and current jazz literature. During the semester, music levels and composers will be discussed for each middle and high school grade.

An exciting concert of Jazz classics performed by Kean University students, side-by-side with alumni and community members, under the direction of Prof. Vincent Turturiello. The program will feature the Lyndhurst High School Jazz Ensemble, followed by Kean’s Jazz Ensemble, along with the New Jersey Jazz Academy.
