Yes. Free parking is available at all Kean Stage venues, including ADA-accessible spaces. No parking pass is required.
How do I get to the venues by public transportation?
The Union Train Station is located directly behind the main campus. From there, walk through the Barnes & Noble parking lot to the Kean Hall lot for the shuttle (Mon-Fri), or follow the blue shuttle line (see Kean’s shuttle map PDF) to reach the Morris Avenue entrance if you are attending a Saturday or Sunday event. From the train station. Enlow Recital Hall is on Kean’s East Campus, a 20-25-minute walk from the Main Campus to North Avenue in Hillside.
Box Office
Do I need a ticket for every attendee?
Yes. Every guest must have a ticket, even babies (less than 2 yrs old) using a “lap seat.”
Are there ticket fees?
Yes, a $3 processing fee applies per ticket. Fees are already included in the ticket total.
What payment methods are accepted?
Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Discover, AmEx), cash and checks are accepted. We currently do not accept tap-to-pay methods.
What are the box office hours?
Monday – Friday: 10 am to 3 pm. Additional box offices open one hour before each performance.
Ticket Policies
Can I transfer my tickets to someone else?
Yes, tickets are typically transferable unless otherwise noted. Call or email the box office for assistance.
What happens if a performance is canceled?
The box office will notify patrons and provide next steps. Make sure to share your current email and phone information.
What is your refund or exchange policy?
All sales are final; there are no refunds. Exchanges are only available for the same production, subject to availability.
Seating & Accessibility
What if I need special seating accommodations?

Is assisted listening available?
Yes, three of our venues: Wilkins Theatre, Enlow Recital Hall and the Bauer Boucher Theatre Center, have assisted listening devices. Receivers are at the box office. For other venues, contact the box office prior to the event.
Do you offer ASL interpretation?
Yes, with at least two weeks’ advance notice. Contact our box office at (908) 737-7469 to arrange.
Do you provide accommodations for sensory needs?
A limited number of sensory bags are available for sensory-friendly shows. Call us in advance if you would like us to have one available at a specific show.
Are booster seats available?
Yes, booster seats are available at the Wilkins Theatre. Please ask an usher upon arrival.
Do you offer lap seats for children?
Yes. Free lap seats are available for children aged 2 and under. Contact the box office after purchasing your tickets to request one.
Are your venues ADA accessible?
Yes. All venues are ADA accessible and offer ADA seating. For shows with general admission seating, please call the box office at (908) 737-7469 for assistance.
Discounts & Pricing
Do Kean members receive a discount?
Yes. Current Kean faculty, staff and students receive a discount, but they must log in to our ticketing system with their Kean SSO credentials in order to see the offer applied and/or availability.
Do you offer senior discounts?
Yes. Seniors (65+) receive 15% off. For reserved seating: select “Senior” during checkout. For general admission seating, choose the Senior ticket type.
Planning Your Visit
Where is the box office located?
The main box office is located in the Wilkins Theatre lobby at 1000 Morris Ave, Union, NJ. Each venue has its own box office, which opens only 1 hour before a scheduled ticketed event.
How early should I arrive?
Plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the performance to allow time for parking and seating.
Are late arrivals allowed?
Late seating is at the discretion of house management and may be delayed until an appropriate break.
Are performances family-friendly?
Age recommendations vary by show. Always check individual event listings at keanstage.com/events
At the Venue
Can I buy tickets at the door?
Yes, if the event is not sold out. Box offices open one hour prior to performances.
Is Wi‑Fi available?
Guest Wi-Fi is very limited at our venues. We recommend that you print or save your ticket(s) to your phone before arrival.
Is there a coat check available?
No, there’s none; plan to keep belongings with you.
Is photography or video recording allowed?
No, unless otherwise stated.

Can I bring food or drinks inside the theatre?
Food and drinks are not allowed, except water.
Are there restaurants nearby?
Yes. Within walking distance, there’s Vermella Plaza offering: Starbucks, Panera, Chipotle, Habit Burger, Mighty Quinn’s BBQ, and Cold Stone Creamery. Within driving distance, there’s Applebee’s, Parador Rojo Restaurant and Tropica Diner & Bakery.
